AAM’s Spatial Innovation Recognised at the Western Australian Spatial Excellence Awards

SIBA Spatial Award

The Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA) presented AAM Pty Ltd with two awards at last week’s Western Australian Spatial Excellence Awards night. AAM was presented with the:

  • Overall Award, Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence, for its contribution to the Government of Singapore’s world-first Smart Nation initiative, and the
  • Award for Export, for the capture and delivery of 3D digital maps for the entire country of Singapore.

The project, commissioned by Singapore Land Authority (SLA), is one of the most ambitious and challenging city mapping projects ever undertaken. AAM bid and won both phases of the Singapore 3D National Map project.

In June 2016, the industry recognised the success of the SLA’s initiative with the World Geospatial Award. The project is just another example of the Australian skills and technology being deployed around the world.

At the awards dinner held on the November 4, AAM’s Carly Lambert and Stuart Flowers were present to accept the awards.
