General Manager - Kuala Lumpur
AAM is seeking a new General Manager to provide strategic and operational management of the Company in accord with policy. The General Manager will promote AAM to industry and government as a capable and professional spatial information consultancy.
Main functions:
- Coordinating and participating in the compilation of budgests and forecasts, and presenting them to Senior Management for approval.
- Working to achieve revenue and to operate within agreed expense budgets, with accountability for the overall financial performance of the KL Office.
- Managing various operations within the KL Office within the policies and guidelines established by Senior Management.
- Managing and motivating all KL personnel.
- Participating in the negotiation of major sales deals within broad policy guidelines - if required.
- Direction, integration and optimisation of the Office's production resources.
- Ensured compliance with the Company's administrative processes.
- Monitoring of Management Accounting information (sales, WIP, creditors, debtors, chargeability).
- Maintenance of Company performance targets.
- Connection with other Offices (resources, functionality).
- Monitoring and review of Company Business Plans.
- Pursue strategic marketing & new business opportunities.
- Business Development (strategic marketing, industry representation, public face of AAM).
- Provide arbitration in unresolved disputes involving matters of management, authority, employment and demarcation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Tertiary or Degree qualified, in a spatial and/or business discipline.
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years business background.
- Preferable previous international exposure.
- Sound administrative skills; a proven record of successful staff management of + 20 people.
- Proven management experience at a senior level, preferably in a professional services sector.
- Strong leadership and motivational ability.
